1. Introduction

Welcome to Twavel! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Twavel application and website (“Service”), operated by:

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Twavel.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Twavel. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 16 or older.

If we discover that a user is under 16, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Creating an Account

To use Twavel, you must create an account by providing:

A valid email address
A password

You may also be able to sign up using Google or Facebook login when those options become available.

3.2 Your Responsibilities

Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
You are responsible for all activity under your account
Notify us immediately at privacy@twavel.me if you suspect unauthorized access
Provide accurate information and keep it up to date

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each person may have only one Twavel account. We reserve the right to remove duplicate accounts.

4. The Service

4.1 What Twavel Does

Twavel is a collaborative trip planning application that lets you:

Create and manage travel itineraries
Discover cities, places, and activities
Use an AI-powered assistant to plan trips through conversation
Complete a travel personalization profile to receive tailored suggestions
Share trips with others via a read-only link

4.2 Free Plan

The basic version of Twavel is offered free of charge and includes manual trip creation and core planning features.

4.3 Premium Plan (Coming Soon)

We plan to introduce a premium plan (“Twavel Premium”) that will include additional features. When available:

Premium features and pricing will be clearly communicated before you subscribe
Payments will be processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), our Merchant of Record
Paddle's terms will apply to all payment transactions
You can manage or cancel your subscription according to the terms displayed at the time of purchase

We will update these Terms when the premium plan launches.

4.4 Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. If a change significantly affects your use, we will notify you in advance when reasonably possible.

5. AI Trip Planning

5.1 How It Works

Twavel includes an AI-powered assistant that helps you plan trips through a conversational interface. The AI uses your messages and travel preferences to generate itinerary suggestions.

5.2 Important Limitations

AI-generated itineraries are suggestions, not guarantees. Opening hours, prices, availability, and conditions may change.
Always verify critical details (reservations, visa requirements, safety conditions) independently.
The AI may occasionally provide inaccurate or outdated information.
Twavel is not responsible for any decisions you make based on AI suggestions.

5.3 Acceptable Use of AI

When interacting with the AI assistant:

Use it for trip planning purposes only
Do not attempt to manipulate the AI into producing harmful, illegal, or off-topic content
We may limit or block AI access if abuse is detected

You may generate a shareable link that allows anyone with the link to view your trip in a read-only mode. The viewer:

Can see the trip itinerary, cities, dates, and places
Cannot navigate the rest of the app or access your account
Does not need a Twavel account

6.2 Your Responsibility

When you share a trip publicly, you are choosing to make that information visible. Please:

Do not include sensitive personal data in trip details you intend to share
Remember that anyone with the link can view the trip
You can revoke the shared link at any time

7. Your Content

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create on Twavel (trips, itineraries, preferences, messages). We do not claim ownership of your content.

7.2 License to Us

By using the Service, you grant Twavel a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use your content for any other purpose without your consent.

7.3 Retained Data After Account Deletion

When you delete your account, your personal data is removed. Trip data may be retained in a de-identified form for internal analysis and service improvement. We take reasonable steps to remove identifying information, but due to the nature of travel data we cannot guarantee that it is fully anonymous under all circumstances. We treat any retained data with the same level of care as personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the Twavel application
Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful material
Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or security
Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without permission
Impersonate another person or entity
Use the Service to collect personal data of other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Property

The Twavel brand, logo, design, code, and content (excluding user content) are owned by 90P Lab SLU and protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including trademark registration.

9.2 Feedback

If you provide us with suggestions or feedback, we may use it freely to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

9.3 Open Data Attribution

Twavel relies on open geographic datasets. We credit them here in accordance with their licenses:

City, region, and country data © GeoNames, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Our city catalog is a derivative of the GeoNames dataset.
Place and venue data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. OpenStreetMap-derived venue fields stored or surfaced by Twavel are a trivial derivative of the OpenStreetMap database.

Map tiles are provided by Mapbox and carry their own attribution on the map surface. Place details rendered through Google's Places UI Kit carry their own Google attribution.

10. Account Termination

10.1 By You

You can delete your account at any time. When you do:

Your personal data will be permanently removed
Your AI conversations will be deleted
Your trip data will be anonymized (see our Privacy Policy for details)

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms
Use the Service in a way that could harm other users or our infrastructure
Are under 16 years of age

We will provide notice before termination when reasonably possible, except in cases of serious violations.

11. Disclaimers

11.1 “As Is” Service

Twavel is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11.2 No Travel Guarantees

Twavel is a planning tool, not a travel agency. We do not:

Book flights, hotels, or activities on your behalf
Guarantee the accuracy of place information, opening hours, or prices
Provide travel insurance or take responsibility for your travel experiences

11.3 Availability

We aim to keep Twavel available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Twavel's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Twavel in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €0 if you are on the free plan).
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, or otherwise).

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Andorra.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us at privacy@twavel.me first — we will try to resolve it informally. If we cannot reach a resolution, the courts of Andorra shall have jurisdiction.

If you are an EU consumer, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top
For significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification
You will be asked to acknowledge the updated Terms when you next use the app
If you do not agree with the changes, you may delete your account
